Located in the Gulf of St-Lawrence, this vast island (nearly 8000 km² or 3000 square miles) is a spellbinding playground for nature enthusiasts. Visitors will marvel at the breathtaking landscapes and enjoy observing an abundance of wildlife on the island, including white-tailes deer, fox, seals, hares, and other mammals. Bird watchers may be lucky enough to spot a bald eagle among the 227 species of birds that make their home on the island.
Formed
by age-old limestone sediments from the sea floor, the island is full
of geological phenomena created by water erosion. Canyons,
caves, waterfalls, and fossils
galore will captivate visitors. Vestiges of the passage of man over
the years also reveal fascinating glimpses of the island's history.
To let you fully discover and appreciate this unique island world, we
offer one-week holiday packages (Saturday to Saturday) that include
quality lodging, airfare and the use of a vehicle. These packages are
available in July and August.
Rates are based on cabin occupancy (maximum 6 people).Shorter stays are also possible.
